Yesterday’s 1/2 day women’s embodiment retreat was something words can barely hold.

We didn’t document much because we were IN IT.

In our bodies. In our truth. In support of each other.

There was crawling, growling, shaking.
There was tenderness, vulnerability, and deep witnessing.
We opened doors to rage, fear, anger — not to stay there, but to feel and free.
We softened into sensuality.
We rose into fierceness.
We remembered devotion.
We dripped in love.

Sisterhood held us the entire way.

To the women who showed up so fully, thank you for your courage, your honesty, your willingness to be seen. It was an honor to hold this space with you.

Carlos brings a wealth of experience as a yoga teacher, musician, sound bath facilitator, flexologist, and aquatic bodyworker—weaving together over a decade of practice and study. His classes are rooted in grounding movement, pranayama, flowing salutations, and deep rest, closing with meditation supported by sound and music for full-body nourishment.

We’re so excited to welcome the lovely to our Soma teaching team!

From Claire:
“Through the practice of yoga, I have learned and continue to learn how to be deeply present with myself, whatever arises, and simply notice. In my classes, I guide students in a way that invites them to tune into their experience, creating space to explore with curiosity. I show up as my authentic self and empower students to do the same.”

Claire began teaching yoga after completing her first 200-hour training in 2022 and has since expanded her knowledge through additional trainings, meditation retreats, and a dedicated daily practice.

Based in the East Bay, she finds joy in “baking sourdough bread, eating sourdough toast with butter and salt, plunging into alpine lakes, and sending voice memos.”

You can practice with Claire every Friday at noon for Vinyasa! Come move, breathe, & explore with her✨
