Tickets are now on sale for our inaugural Lend A Hand Awards & Celebration: A Fundraiser for Our Youth Programs. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Wolferts Roost Country Club in Albany.

Lend A Hand will honor outstanding community leaders, volunteers, partners, champions, and team members who exemplify Trinity Alliance’s core values of Collaboration, Growth, Justice, and Compassion. Together, we will celebrate those who “Lend A Hand” to uplift our youth, families, adults, and neighborhoods.

The awardees are:

Jennifer Lawrence, SEAT Center - Harris Oberlander Community Service & Leadership Award
Mother Cabrini Health Foundation - The Horowit-Hendler Trinity Alliance Champion Award
Hen’Daya Wilkins – Employee of the Year Award
Greg Foskey – Nancy Lonczak Award
Eric Keville – Special Recognition Award
Rakier Depass – Youth Award

The public has also voted on two other awards: The Volunteer Award and the Community Leadership and Service Award. In addition to the awards, we will celebrate our youth programs.

We are honored to share that our emcee will be Marlia Fontaine-Weisse, CDP — Miss Ohio 2005, Founder & CEO, elev8 Workforce Solutions, and proud Trinity Alliance Board Member. The event will also include dinner, as well as music and a photo booth provided by DJ HollyW8D.

🧡 Compassion in Action: Supporting Families Through the SNAP Crisis

Thousands of families across the Capital Region are bracing for the impact of halted SNAP benefits (effective November 1, 2025) — leaving many uncertain about their next meal.

At Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region we’ve seen a dramatic increase in neighbors seeking food assistance. This past week, demand has exceeded our capacity, forcing us to temporarily close our food pantries at 15 Trinity Place and 47 Lark Street for delivery, restocking, and preparation for the growing need.

👉 Our shelves are nearly bare — a powerful reminder of the surge we’re facing.

We plan to reopen Monday.

We understand how stressful uncertainty around food access can be. Our team — alongside partners throughout the Capital Region — is working tirelessly to ensure no one is left without care or support.

We thank Gov. Kathy Hochul for calling for $30 million in emergency funding to protect more than 3 million New Yorkers from hunger and recognize the extraordinary efforts of our partners at the Regional Food Bank and The Food Pantries for the Capital District

This is a moment for community action and collective care — for unity, advocacy, and shared leadership. Together, we will meet it with love, generosity, and compassion.
