🗣️You HEARD the news about the violence...

NOW WHAT? You might be among those who complain about what's been happening....

NOW WHAT? Maybe you rattled off a list of things that other people, institutions, systems should be doing.....

NOW WHAT? OR maybe you wondered what YOU could do....

NOW WHAT? The truth is you can DO something! We need listeners, helpers, healers, and advocates willing to stand with survivors and families impacted by violence....

NOW WHAT?....Be the ANSWER.

Our Homer Perkins Center won Third Place in the 34th Annual Treatment and Recovery Works March Banner Contest, held Tuesday at Hope House. The residents came together at the last minute and created this banner with no idea they would do so well. A BIG congratulations to Homer Perkins Center and its clients.

Stuart Keating, (second from right), an account executive with iHeartMedia Inc., talks to Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region CEO Daquetta P. Jones-Johnson (center) and Trinity Alliance team members.

As the result of Trinity Alliance winning a KISS 102-3 listener contest, in which we were selected as their favorite area nonprofit among three choices, Keating delivered 30 Bowled lunches to the agency for its staff. The station also promoted Trinity Alliance in public service announcements.
Thanks go out to Kiss 102.3, its listeners, IHeart Media and sponsor Broadview Federal Credit Union for raising awareness for Trinity Alliance and all area nonprofits. (And the lunch was delicious!)

Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region recently honored our team members with a Staff Appreciation Day and Picnic for all that they do for our community.

Our team was treated to a variety of food choices and games, and a chance to meet colleagues from other divisions. Three members were recognized with specific awards:

EMPLOYEE SERVICE AWARD: Hen’Daya Wilkins, Administrative Assistant, Homer Perkins Center.
This award is presented to a staff member who has been selected by their peers as one who exemplifies Trinity Alliance’s mission and values, both in their professional life and through their personal accomplishments. Hen’Daya stayed strong and dedicated not only to Homer Perkins Center but our clients, the job and the mission during a year’s-long critical programmatic period for beyond her assigned role.

NANCY LONCZAK AWARD: Greg Foskey, Program Director, A.S.C.A.R.E.
The Nancy Lonczak Award, named after our recently retired 45-year full-time employee, is presented to a team member with at least 10 years with the agency who has made a significant difference in our community. Greg has been doing that for more than 31 years, primarily as the lead of our Youth Development division.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARD: Eric Keville, Director of Buildings & Grounds.
A special recognition award does not have to be given out every year. It is reserved for someone who needs to be recognized because they are, well, special. That is Eric Keville, our director of Buildings and Grounds.

This is a man who practically lived in Trinity Alliance for a week after a gas main break shut us down. No one was going to cross our door path until Eric okayed it was safe. Eric Keville not only buys into the Trinity Alliance mission and vision; he embodies it.

These employees and other award winners to be announced will be recognized at our inaugural “Lend a Hand Awards & Celebration: A Fundraiser for Our Youth Programs,” to be held Wednesday, Dec. 10 at Wolferts Roost Country Club. (Doors open at 5:30 p.m.)

Look for details and much more about this exciting evening in the weeks ahead—but save the date now!
