We're back! After being closed for a couple days of training with the Academy of Shockwave Excellence, we are now gearing up to bring Shockwave Therapy to our patients starting in March!

With this treatment, we aim to permanently remodel the tissue at and around any problem area and you see the treatment is working immediately, by way of decreased pain and increased motion.

We will be starting treatment on patients with Shockwave Therapy starting in March!

Tennis elbow (or any other tendinosis condition) is treated very effectively with shockwave therapy. The link provided is a study showing effectiveness of treatment with shockwave vs. sham treatment for anyone who likes to read the nitty gritty studies. The quick summary is 87% of patients were happy with results vs. 10% in the sham treatment. Pain scales and grip strength were also improved in the treatment group.

We haven't posted a while but we have some exciting news! In March, we will be rolling out our new Shockwave Therapy service! Shockwave is adept at treating soft tissue injuries by targeting scar tissue and adhesions, causing reduced pain and improved blood flow. More to come soon!
