We were so encouraged by a visit from some sweet friends of the center. Emily Vincent and her friend Ana (Cornerstone Coffee + Co) came by to bring a donation from Emily's bakery, The Broken Bread Bakery. Thank you for the kind gift, and even more so for the kind words and encouragement that you brought with you. You made our hearts smile! We enjoyed seeing our APC family today at our Back to School party! We had bookbags for the kids, information from our vendors Helping Mamas Albany, Dougherty County Public Library, Southwest Georgia Public Health District, and Albany Housing Authority . Plus Albany Technical College came to help moms and dads with enrollment for their upcoming school year. Special shout out to Life Church for providing backpacks filled with school supplies for our event! They were beautiful and much appreciated.

We were blessed by a visit from Evie and her grandmother today. Evie brought FOUR bottles filled with money to contribute to our Bottles for Babies campaign! Evie (age 6) wanted to learn about how we help mommies. I gave her a tour of the center and showed her our Baby Store, which is where the money from the bottles is used. Thank you Evie (and Sheila) for supporting the APC!! 🩵🩷
