Licefreee

Licefreee The Original Non-toxic Head Lice Treatment helping families irradicate head lice fast and permanently. Not FDA evaluated. Before Licefreee! Home.

Claims based on traditional homeopathic practice, not accepted medical evidence. (For customer service or to contact us, please visit the support link in the About section or in the footer of our website.) came along in 1999, the options were limited to mainly those that contained chemical pesticides, pyrethrum, and permethrin. Pyrethrum, an insecticide derived from chrysanthemum plants, and Permethrin, a synthetic insecticide, were (are) used in agriculture to combat pests that threatened the livelihood of crops. Unfortunately, both can be harsh when used to treat head lice but were long considered the standard for lice treatment. In the late 1990’s, after a horrendous experience treating her own daughter with a permethrin-based lice treatment, one of our very own moms was determined to come up with a head lice treatment free of permethrin and pyrethrum. After hours of research and testing, the Original Non-toxic head lice treatment, homeopathic Licefreee! Gel was created, hitting retail shelves in 1999. Over the years, we’ve added more products to our beloved line of safe solutions including Licefreee Spray!, the Licefreee! Kit which includes Licefreee! Gel and Licefreee Everyday! Daily maintenance shampoo, and now, Licefreee! We hope to help you solve all of your lice woes and remain lice-free, always!

Found nits but no lice? 🤔 You're not alone!

It might seem strange to see nits (lice eggs) without spotting a single louse, but there’s a good reason! 🪳 Nits stay glued to the hair shaft while live lice are fast, sneaky, and great at hiding—especially behind ears and at the nape of the neck.

Here are a few reasons this happens:
🕵️‍♀️ Lice might be hiding too well
💨 They may have fallen off or jumped ship
☠️ The nits could be dead (a good sign treatment is working!)
🍼 You caught the infestation super early

No matter what, regular checks and a good lice comb make all the difference. Stay vigilant and persistent, lice don’t stand a chance – especially if you are using Licefreee!

Is your child scratching their head more than usual?

The most common sign of head lice is itching, especially behind the ears and at the nape of the neck (lice love to lay eggs in those warm, cozy spots!). 🪳

Other signs to watch for:
😣 Trouble sleeping
😠 Irritability
😷 In rare cases, swollen lymph nodes or infection

Itching can be caused by lice crawling or irritation from their bites. If your child is showing any of these symptoms, especially if there’s a known outbreak at school, it’s time for a quick head check.
