Alzheimer's disease is not just memory loss - it's a progressive, life-altering condition that impacts the mind and daily life. World Alzheimer's Day is September 21. Health organizations across the globe focus their efforts on raising awareness about the disease.
The first diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease was in 1906. Alzheimer's is the most common cause of dementia. At this time, science hasn't found a cure BUT we are not giving up. Those participating in a research trial are getting us closer every day. Remember: The first person to be cured of Alzheimer's disease will have been a research participant. This month, honor the strenth of those living with Alzheimer's, the dedication of caregivers, and the tireless efforts of researchers fighting for a cure.

Just last week we partnered with the Albany Guardian Society for an engaging presentation and discussion on Alzheimer’s Disease! The presentation attendance was outstanding with our in-person slots completed filled and an overwhelming online presence as well. We will continue to be active in the community to help further educate on Alzheimer’s Disease.
