ALBANY, NEW YORK—On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Hope House Inc, will host the 34th Annual Albany County Treatment and Recovery Works March, which will kick-off at 12:00 pm at Hope House, Inc. 877 Madison Avenue, Albany
The Treatment and Recovery Works March Committee, which includes representatives from Albany County STOP-DWI, The Albany County Department of Mental Health, The Addictions Care Center of Albany, Hope House, Hospitality House, Catholic Charities Project Safe Point, The Hive of Hope, Second Chance of Opportunities, and Eleanor Young, will join other area treatment providers and those in the recovery community by coming together to raise awareness that treatment improves lives and encourages our area youth to lead a life that is drug and alcohol-free. Hope House will be performing a Ribbon cutting for the new administrative offices at 877 Madison Avenue for Albany Outpatient treatment center at 879 Madison Avenue, Albany. The buildings were bought from the former College of Saint Rose and funded by a Department of Health grant. This relocation and upgrade to our facilities reflects the expansion and growth of the Hope House agency and commitment to helping those suffering with substance abuse disorder.
This year, a special awards ceremony will recognize honorees for their dedication to community service, commitment to their support for individuals in recovery, and for exemplifying the qualities of a sober lifestyle. The ceremony will begin at 12:00pm at Hope of House, 877 Madison Avenue, Albany NY 12208. After the awards ceremony, participants will march through the city streets showcasing their creativity as they share the banners that they have designed. This year’s banner contest theme is RECOVERY IS FOR EVERYONE: Every Person, Every Family, Every Community! Participants will march into Washington Park Playhouse where there will also be food, a talent show, co****le and a banner contest. Several community organizations will also be attending to share their resources. Those who would like to tour the new Hope House administrative offices and outpatient treatment center are welcome to do so after the ceremony while the march is in progress.
