To provide nature-based and equine facilitated opportunities in a relaxed environment.

We believe that individuals can live a healthier more fulfilling life by becoming more aware of the power of mindfulness and living in the present moment, leading to a healthier connection of mind body and spirit. Our services are driven by research and offer unique opportunities to explore and improve self-awareness. We meet you where you are on this journey, offering nature based activities and equine services in a relaxed, non-judgmental, friendly environment to meet your personal goals: your intention becomes ours! The elements of our signature "C Within" Model Principles are utilized as appropriate for the equine facilitated services: Centered Breathing and Grounding, Connection through the Heart, Clear Communication, Compassionate Leadership and Cognizant Appreciation.

We recently finished our annual Youth/teen Mindfulness Summer Program. We had a wonderful time learning how to slow down and emotionally regulate with the support of nature, equine assisted learning and the BREATHE program. Thank you Hopewell Health staff and interns for this amazing partnership! A special thanks to Micki and Sarah for all their support!

This school year is coming to a close and many youths are eager to begin the summer vacations. But before we transition we wanted to share wonderful moments and memories we have had this spring.

First, we had the honor of providing an empowerment and leadership program with a group of honor students from Vinton County School. We had a great time and it was a pleasure meeting and working with these gifted and morivated young women! Best of luck in your future endeavors! Thank you Candice!

In 2006, Natural Freedom opened for equine facilitated learning. In 2008, Natural Freedom was established as a LLC company. In 2009, we started a pilot program with formally known as Tri-County Mental Health and Counseling, currently known as Hopewell Health Centers. Natural Freedom became a PATH International Member Center in 2012. Natural Freedom is a family owned and operated business with husband wife team, Pam and Robert Jeffers. It was through their own trial and tribulations that they have learned the enormous impact that horses and nature have to offer in terms of learning, growing and healing throughout life’s journey.
