Tap 👍 if you’ve ever taken an advocacy action, big or small — speaking up for patients, supporting colleagues, or engaging with lawmakers.

American College of Physicians (ACP) and NYACP make advocacy a shared mission, connecting physicians across New York who care deeply about their communities. Every action inspires another — let’s show how many advocates make up NYACP!

Dr. Douglas DeLong has shared that the American College of Physicians (ACP) saved his life—twice.
His story is a powerful reminder of how much community matters in medicine.

Through Chapter programs, support, and leadership pathways, he went from burnout to empowerment.

That’s what NYACP Chapters do every day: support each other, lift each other up, and grow together.

Looking to get more involved? Your Chapter is ready to welcome you.💚
