Project TEACH is now accepting requests for maternal and pediatric mental health core topic trainings. These programs are offered virtually or, when possible, in-person to your organization. Each 1-hour training offers practical, evidence-based education to those who care for pediatric and/or perinatal patients. 1.25 CME credit is available for each topic.

Maternal Mental Health (MMH) topics are led by a Project TEACH reproductive psychiatrist or perinatal psychologist and are available to any agency in New York State that supports perinatal patients.

Child & Adolescent Mental Health topics are led by a Project TEACH child & adolescent psychiatrist and/or a primary care clinician, and are offered to pediatric and family medicine practices in NYS.

Time is running out to register for our upcoming February 25 webinar, "A Trauma Informed Approach to OB/GYN Care," presented by Samantha Deans, MD, MPH.

As part of our Maternal Mental Health Webinar Wednesday series, this event is offered at no cost to clinicians and funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health.

Project TEACH is pleased to introduce Dr. Jessica Cosgrove as the newest member of our Maternal Team of perinatal psychiatrists!

Dr. Cosgrove is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and an attending physician at Northwell, Mather Hospital, where she serves as an Associate Program Director for the Psychiatry Residency Program. In this role, she is instrumental in residency education, having developed and implemented a comprehensive reproductive psychiatry didactic curriculum and clinical experience for trainees.

Project TEACH is now offering referral support to any NYS professional who interfaces with pregnant or postpartum persons, including:

-Non-prescribing mental health practitioners (therapists, social workers, LMHCs etc).
-Other practitioners who might interact with individuals in the perinatal period in a professional capacity (lactation counselors, home health aides, community health workers, nurses, doulas etc).

Our live consultation phone line is open Monday-Friday from 9am - 5pm. Call 855-227-7272 to obtain referral assistance.

These 1-hour training courses are conducted by a Project TEACH child & adolescent psychiatrist and presented directly to pediatric and family medicine practices.

Trainings can be scheduled at your convenience, with each topic qualifying for up to 1.25 CME credits.
