Registration is now open for our upcoming Maternal Mental Health Fall Intensive Training! This full day training event will be held in-person on November 17 at the Hilton Albany in Albany, NY.

Attendees will learn about supporting, assessing and managing mental health concerns in perinatal patients/individuals. As a result of this program, attendees will:

-Increase their skill in discussing mental health symptoms with perinatal individuals and enhancing their motivation and commitment to change.
-Know how to utilize validated screening tools to improve their ability to detect perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
-Know how to utilize validated su***de risk assessment tools to improve their ability to assess suicidal risk in perinatal patients.
-Receive up to date, evidence-based information about when, what, why, and how to use psychotropic medications in perinatal patients.

We encourage all who work with perinatal individuals to attend this program, including: maternal health prescribers (e.g., OB-GYN, Family Medicine, Pediatrics), nurses, social workers, lactation counselors, and community and allied health professionals.

Registration for our upcoming Child & Adolescent Mental Health Fall Intensive Training is now open! This interactive training series spans over four days on October 26-27 and November 2-3, and offers 15 CME credits upon completion.

Those who attend every training event will have the opportunity to sign-up for site-based learning and consultation time with their local Project TEACH child and adolescent psychiatrist.

Topics to be discussed include:
ADHD, Anxiety and Aggression, Depression and Su***de Assessment/Management, Trauma Informed Care, Eating Disorders and Collaborating with Schools.

Project TEACH is now offering referral support to any NYS professional who interfaces with pregnant or postpartum persons, including:

-Non-prescribing mental health practitioners (therapists, social workers, LMHCs etc).
-Other practitioners who might interact with individuals in the perinatal period in a professional capacity (lactation counselors, home health aides, community health workers, nurses, doulas etc).

Our live consultation phone line is open Monday-Friday from 9am - 5pm. Call 855-227-7272 to obtain referral assistance.
