There are so many people behind the care our community receives—and recently, we had the chance to say thank you.

On Tuesday, April 28, we gathered at Doublegate Country Club for our Phoebe Foundation Corporate Partners Luncheon, celebrating the businesses and leaders who stand beside us all year long.

These Corporate Partners do more than support events—they make it possible for every dollar raised to go directly toward patient care. Their generosity fuels projects, programs, and resources that impact lives across our region every single day.

It was a room full of people who believe in showing up, giving back, and making a difference right here at home.

When Shane Bush faced a life-threatening medical crisis, he needed immediate care at Phoebe’s main ER and then spent five days in the hospital. From the start, our teams delivered not only high-quality care, but also compassion, respect, and even a little humor when he needed it most.
Today, Shane is a proud member of the Phoebe Family. To thank the care teams who helped save his life, he gives to The 1911 Society -- our employee giving program -- helping ensure our clinicians have the equipment and support they need to care for others.

We were proud to be a part of the Phoebe Foundation Partner Luncheon yesterday, celebrating the people and organizations who show up all year long to support better healthcare in our community.

Since 1989, the Phoebe Foundation has raised more than $33 million to support healthcare across Southwest Georgia. At Flint Community Bank, we’re proud to be part of that impact—knowing our dollars help fund projects, programs, and resources that touch so many lives at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and beyond.

It’s always a good day when you’re surrounded by folks who care deeply about this community and are committed to making it stronger.
