The Reiki Path LLC Offering traditional Reiki treatments to promote and support healing and relaxation, and classes in Reiki levels 1 & 2.

Location in Albany, off of Wolf Road as of 10/24/2017. Reiki is a hands-on spiritual/energy healing practice, which promotes healing and well-being at all levels. It is also a system for personal spiritual development. The form practiced here was developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 1920's, and passed on through Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata and Frans Stiene. Teaching also includes spiritual practices and meditation methods. Bob Weissberg was first trained in Reiki by Mary Browne in 1999,with lineage traced back through Hawayo Takata. Bob has been privileged to serve as a teaching Master since 2004. He also received training in Shinpiden from Frans Stiene in 2017. He has treated and taught many people in the Capital Area of New York, in the Cambridge area of Massachusetts, and has also taught classes in Reiki to medical students at the Medical College of New Jersey, and to Resident physicians at Ellis Hospital. Bob Weissberg is a medical doctor (MD), currently retired. From 1999-2014, the practice of Reiki was incorporated as part of an Integrative Medicine office, at various locations in the NY Capital Area, as well as Cambridge, Massachusetts. In the BodyWorks Wellness Center, Reiki treatments are offered by appointment for $75/hour, $40/30 min. Also, classes are offered for 1st & 2nd Degree’s, at $175 and $225 respectively. Reiki Master/Teacher training is 1:1, by individual arrangement. Bob Weissberg has been a student of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy since 2018, and offers free sessions in this modality, currently limited to his Reiki clients. He looks forward to future offering of this other powerful practice to the general public.

The form practiced here was developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 1920's, and passed on through Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata and Frans Stiene. Teaching also includes spiritual practices and meditation methods. Bob Weissberg was first trained in Reiki by Mary Browne of Berne NY in 1999, receiving Master level in Usui Shiki Ryoho in 2004, with lineage traced back through Hawayo Takata. He also received training in Shinpiden(mystery teachings) level of Usui Reiki Ryoho from Frans Stiene of the International House of Reiki, in 2017. He is a Registered Practitioner with the Shibumi International Reiki Association.

Bob has treated and taught many people in the Capital Area of New York, in the Cambridge area of Massachusetts, and has also taught classes in Reiki to medical students at the Medical College of New Jersey, and to Resident physicians at Ellis Hospital. Bob Weissberg is also a medical doctor (MD), with his practice of medicine limited at this time to a federally qualified clinic in the Capital Area. From 1999-2014, the practice of Reiki was incorporated as part of an Integrative Medicine office, at various locations in the NY Capital Area, as well as Cambridge, Massachusetts. Bob Weissberg currently offers services at The BodyWorks Wellness Center in Albany NY. Treatments are offered by appointment for $75/hour, $40/30 min. Distance healing sessions are now available for $18. Also, classes are offered periodically for 1st & 2nd Degree’s, at $175 and $225 respectively.
