When Jennifer Childers came to Monarch in 2014, she was searching for support to navigate trauma, depression and anxiety. Along the way, she discovered a gift for helping others feel safe enough to share their own stories.

Now a certified P*er Support Specialist, Jennifer uses her lived experience to walk alongside others facing mental health challenges, showing them that hope and healing are possible.

Her inspiring journey, and more uplifting stories from across Monarch, are featured in our Summer 2025 Momentum newsletter. We hope it brings you some Feel Good Friday vibes heading into the weekend.

As the school year begins, remember that mental health matters. Monarch is here to support students and families with our Back-to-School Mental Health Toolkit filled with tips and resources to help manage stress and build resilience.

We understand that this time can feel overwhelming. If you or your child need extra support, Monarch offers open-access therapeutic services to help you get the care you need.

For children ages 6-17 facing a mental health or substance use crisis, Monarch’s SECU Youth Crisis Center provides a secure setting for short-term crisis stabilization.

Going back to school does not have to feel overwhelming. With the right support, coping strategies and resources, students can have a successful and healthy year.
