We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to for inviting Allison, Corey Beth, and Heather to attend a women’s leadership breakfast this morning. It was a Morning of Purpose, Power, and Passion in partnership with the
The morning was absolutely beautiful…thank you for hosting and the delicious breakfast provided. It was a powerful time of motivation, encouragement, and empowerment as women leaders from across Stanly County came together in one room.
We were inspired by keynote speaker, Chief Culture Officer of First Bank, Kim O’Quinn, and a panel of incredible women leaders in our community, Pam Blake & Taylor Burleson…and we couldn’t be more proud that our very own fearless leader Allison Mingle was part of that panel as well!!
One moment we want to share from the panel was when Allison was asked who she looks up to or who has she considered a mentor to her.
After recognizing her dad, Roger Hudson, her next answer wasn’t about titles or positions…it was about the people who walk into Will’s Place.
She shared that many of the individuals who walk through the doors of Will’s Place Recovery Resource Center are mentors to her. That she is always learning from them. The people who come through are often at rock bottom, but are filled with so much gratitude for another chance and fresh start. 🥹🙏 And that tells you everything you need to know about her heart.
Allison, this is just a small glimpse of what we see behind the scenes every single day. The hours, the heart, the dedication you pour into Will’s Place do not go unnoticed. If people could see all that happens when no one is watching, they would understand just how much of yourself you give to this work in living memory of your brother Will.
You are a truly fabulous & fearless leader. You lead with strength, compassion, courage and purpose….and it impacts every life that walks through our doors!!
We love you, we appreciate you, we are so proud to be inspired by you. Thank you for leading the way!!
