🎄🎁🫶 Merry Christmas 🎄🎁❤️ this is our weekly schedule this week! We will be sending out an end of the year newsletter tomorrow to let you know about what’s coming in Jan 2026! ❄️

12/22/2025

Thank you to everyone who came by this evening and trusted us with the heavy things you’re holding this season. Your loved ones, your memories, and your tender shares matter. We see you, and we hold space for all of it with care and compassion. We pray this holiday season for comfort where there is sorrow, peace where there is heaviness, and light where the nights feel long. You are not alone. From all of us at Will’s Place 💙🕯️🤲

💙🕯️Blue Christmas drop in this evening. All are welcome. Open to the public. We remember with you. 🤲🙏

Tomorrow is the Winter Solstice. This is the longest night of the year. It’s the turning point where, slowly and gently, the light we have all been missing begins to return to lengthen our days.

The holiday season can hold both joy and grief. Laughter & longing. Celebration and a quiet sacred ache. And we want you to know that ALL of it belongs.

If you’re in the Albemarle or Stanly County area, Will’s Place is opening our doors to the public for one hour tomorrow for a drop-in pause. A simple, sacred space to breathe in the midst of the hustle and bustle, and the holiday festivities. Amongst the longest night of the year…take a moment if needed to pause and remember your tears are sacred.

Come as you are.
• Light a candle
• Sit in quiet reflection
• Honor your grief and your loved one

A space to remember, to feel, and to be held as light begins its return. 🕯️💙

We saw a reel on Instagram that challenged us to pause and look back on the year—so we did.

At Will’s Place, 2025 held a lot. Growth and setbacks. Breakthroughs and hard conversations. Lives changed in quiet ways that don’t always make headlines. Recovery isn’t linear, and neither was this year.

But when we stopped to really look, the good was everywhere: people choosing one more day sober, showing up when it would’ve been easier not to, asking for help, rebuilding trust, finding community.

This is your reminder that even in a year full of ups and downs, there is always good to be found. And every step forward—no matter how small—is worth celebrating.

We’re proud of this community. And we’re grateful to keep doing this work together.

💙Blue Christmas Sunday Night Drop-In 💙
🕯️ Sunday, December 21st | 5:00–6:00 PM

Grief is hard…and the holidays can make it feel even heavier.

On Sunday, December 21st, our chapel will be open for a drop-in Blue Christmas hour for anyone in our community who may be carrying loss, sadness, or simply needs a quiet place to breathe.

Come as you are.
Light a candle.
Sit in silence.
Take a moment for quiet reflection and remembrance.

We will serve cookies & warm cider.

There is no program, no expectations, just a peaceful, welcoming space to honor what you’re holding during the season.

🤍 Open to the public. You are not alone.
