Here’s the story behind Jenny’s Country Kitchen…a simple garage sale purchase was the catalyst for what is now Jenny’s Country Kitchen. With a quarter borrowed from her dad (we don’t know if it has ever been paid back), jenny purchased a cookbook. That cookbook triggered a
chain of life changing events. Back in 1991, Jenny’s (then little) sister Crystal, convinced her t0 sell baked goods at the local farmer’s market. Their markets expanded to include craft shows by the fall of the same year. From there, Jenny began peddling her baking mixes and coffee creamers store to store across Nebraska. Upon personally delivering each product, Jenny would say, “if you would like to reorder, please call Jenny's Country Kitchen.” Hence, the birth of the company. Now, two decades later, Jenny’s Country Kitchen products have been shipped across the United States, as well as to Japan, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Mexico, Holland, Germany, Switzerland and England (where they say our products are “simply lovely”). Jenny’s philosophy hasJennys Country Kitchen always been, “they will buy it once if it looks good, but they won’ t buy it again unless it tastes really good!” © We can only continue to succeed if people come back and ask for our products by name…but really, all the glory must go to God who sustains us by HIS grace.
