Hi friends,
I want to share a bit of my own health journey, because it’s been a powerful reminder of how connected our bodies truly are — and how God designed them to communicate with us. Tools like thermography have helped me better understand what my body is trying to tell me.
For the past few years, I’ve been working with Between the Bridges in Mankato to support my gut health, balance hormones, and most recently go through chelation to remove lead from my body. Along the way, I had a thermogram done that showed areas in my oral cavity that were recommended for further evaluation.
I took my thermogram report to a holistic dentist, who then performed a CT. Through that imaging, it was discovered that I have cavitations in my jaw where all four of my wisdom teeth were removed when I was 14 years old. I have had no pain or symptoms, and the dentist shared that treatment wasn’t required. However, the toxins being released into my system would continue unless the area was addressed.
The wisdom teeth areas correspond with the heart meridian as well as the stomach and small intestine meridians, which added another layer of insight as I’ve been addressing gut health and overall balance.
After careful consideration, I am choosing to move forward with treatment. This doesn’t sound fun, but I trust the Lord’s guidance and know my body will feel better once healing takes place. The plan includes debriding the affected bone, disinfecting the area with ozone, and supporting bone healing by placing platelet-rich fibrin (derived from my own blood and rich in stem cells) into the sockets. IV vitamin C will be used the day before and after the procedure to support healing.
This experience is a big part of why I am so passionate about the work I do with thermography. It has shown me how God can use information and insight to guide next steps — even when there are no obvious symptoms. Our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made, and learning to listen is part of stewardship.
I’m sharing this not out of fear, but faith and awareness — and in hopes it encourages others to seek wisdom, advocate for their health, and trust God through the process.
