We are heartbroken to share that Brooke Webb, our former medical assistant and someone who will always be family to us, passed away after a long and courageous fight with cancer.

Many of you remember Brooke from the time she spent with us at our previous location. Her bright smile, the way she made every patient feel truly cared for, and the kindness she gave to our patients will be forever missed. The news of her passing has hit us all quite hard.

To give our team the chance to attend her service and say goodbye to someone so dear to us, the clinic will open a little late tomorrow after lunch. We will be in office from 8-12 and 2-5 tomorrow.

Brooke touched countless lives—patients and staff alike—and we know many of you loved her too. Please keep her family, her friends, and our team in your thoughts and prayers.
We love you and miss you, Brooke. Rest in peace. 💕

Medical Assistant (Full-Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team full-time. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care, assist healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks, and contribute to a positive and efficient office environment.

Responsibilities
• Assist our providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws and urinalysis.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records.
• Provide patient education on treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.

Qualifications
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting (preferred but not required for recent graduates).
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and basic pharmacology.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Location: Albertville Family Medicine, 201 W Main St Albertville, AL 35950
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Salary: Competitive, based on experience
