Dear Patients of Dr. Skelton's Office,

After 46 years of practice at Northeast Alabama Pediatrics, Dr. Skelton has sold his primary office location in Gadsden, Alabama. Effective 2/1/24, Dr. Skelton will no longer be seeing patients at the Gadsden location. Coosa Family Care has purchased the practice, including the business name and building. Dr. Skelton's Albertville, Alabama location will continue to remain open under the new name, Skelton Pediatrics. Dr. Skelton will still own and see patients at this location (as well as our physician extenders).

Should you wish to obtain a copy of your medical records, please call the office at 256-546-4611 and they will be happy to help you. Should you wish to continue care with Dr. Skelton at our Albertville location, and are a patient of our Gadsden location currently, you will need to sign a release of records to be transferred to our Albertville location, as the practices will no longer be combined. Should you wish to remain a patient of Northeast Alabama Pediatrics (owned by Coosa Family Care), nothing needs to be done on your behalf.

Dr. Skelton wants to thank the generations of families who have entrusted the care of their children to him over his long career. He looks forward to spending more time with his family and catching a fish or two. Thank you for trusting us with your children's healthcare for so many years.

Upcoming Holiday Hours: Our Albertville office will be open 8AM-12PM on Monday, July 3, 2023. Our Gadsden office will be open 9AM-12PM on Monday, July 3, 2023. All offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4, 2023. We will reopen for normal business hours at both offices on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
