Pardon our progress y'all!

Today the team raised 5 markers that had 'sunk'. 4 of the 5 were markers the team said needed to be fixed. The other was a family who came in and told us there was a problem.

Please be patient with us as we address the dirt piles in the cemetery. Devotion is the absolute worst and we have been moving dirt all week. We realize that there are graves in the dirt pile and we apologize. Those were started in 2022 while I was not there. We have moved the dirt pile to an area closer to the pond and will keep cleaning that area up. The dirt pile in Christus, or by 205, was addressed today. The family was right to be upset and we apologize. We fixed it back to the way we had in prior to my leaving in 2022. Now we will drive behind the trees again.

The staff is working very hard to address concerns and even issues they see.

Pardon our progress y'all...

We are still working on getting the dead trees out of the cemetery. We are taking a much care as possible to not damage anything. We still have some dead trees to cut down, benches to reset and vases to put back in place. We also have some maintenance to do on some parts of the ground. We are aware of this and as soon as all dead trees are down, we will go back and fix the ground at that point. Thanks to all of you who understand this is a work on progress.

Y'all just keep giving us time. We worked on another tree today, the one by the pond that is dying. We did take some vases out and laid them by their markers and laid 2 benches over. We did that to keep things from being messed up. Even this tree looks better now, even though the dead parts are gone. Will it live? No. But the rest will probably stay up for a little longer. So if you see a bunch of limbs where a tree used to be, yes we are still working on them!

We realize that we left limbs down from the 2 dead trees we got down this week. On a positive note, we took down dead trees instead of live trees! We will clean these up Monday. The only damage was 1 vase and a bench that toppled over. We will fix both Monday. Here are the pictures from today.
