As summer tiptoes into our lives, we are greeted by the bright glow of June’s Strawberry Moon, reaching peak illumination June 11th at 3:45 a.m. ET! This full moon in Sagittarius invites us to embrace joy, adventure, and the blossoming possibilities the warmer months bring.
There's also something extra special about this full moon... Lunistice, or "the major lunar standstill" is a 2 year period where the distance between northernmost and southernmost moonrise and moonset can be exceptionally far apart, making La Luna appear bigger, glowing pink/orange and rising at the lowest point on the horizon for nearly 2 decades!

Why the name “Strawberry Moon"?
It’s a sweet nod to the fleeting strawberry harvest, celebrated by indigenous tribes across North America. Just as strawberries burst forth, ripe and vibrant, this moon encourages us to harvest our dreams and let our spirits soar.

This year, the Strawberry Moon falls in Sagittarius, the adventurous fire sign. You may feel a tug to return to old hobbies that brought you joy or the urge for play that's good for the soul. This is thanks to Sagittarius' passionate, curious, and free-spirited nature, likely giving your inner child more of a voice this week.
With that though, can come excess.
