🌿🔥Beltane blessings & happy flower moon in Scorpio! 🌕♏️
Beltane begins on May Eve, carrying us into May Day and this year, the full flower moon in Scorpio! AND at the end of the month, a second full moon - giving us our first BLUE MOON since 2023 and until 2027. 🤯
A Celtic & Gaelic festival celebrating fertility, passion, protection, and creation, Beltane is one of the major fire festivals on the Wheel of the Year. It marks the halfway point between Spring Equinox and Summer Soltice, an embodiment of the threshold between awakening and full blown becoming that is late Spring.
Many Celts consider May 1st the true start of summer, not the soltice.
Also reaching peak illumination later today, the flower moon in Scorpio! 🏵
Typically a full moon honoring growth of spirit, abundance and illumination - this flower moon falls in Scorpio, bringing with it the emotional intensity & divine awareness the water sign is known for. 🌊
If we know anything about Scorpio, it's that they don't deal in surface level emotions, but cut straight to the wound...
If someone's energy feels overwhelming or you're experiencing emotional epiphanies this week - good. That is not your life falling apart, that is your truth breaking through. 💡

🌕 BLOOD MOON RISING! 🌕
Tomorrow morning we witness a BLOOD MOON, or total lunar eclipse. When our planet slides between the sun & moon, it prevents the sun's light from reaching the surface and earth casts a copper red shadow on the moon.
If your skies are clear, venture out first thing when totality begins at 6:04am EST, lasting approximately an hour!

✨️ But what is a BLOOD MOON, *spiritually*?
Harbinger of chaos? 👀
Hardly.
Energetically, they are connected to deep emotional release, endings, and epiphanies.
This isn't a time for manifestation, this is a time to LOOSEN YOUR GRIP.
You may notice sudden realizations & strong emotions while things naturally fall away.
Listen to the whispers of clarity about what no longer fits your life or serves your greatest good.

✨️ So what does this BLOOD MOON mean, astrologically?
With the moon in Virgo; and Mercury, Venus, and the North Node in Pisces, this blood moon has a bit of a "tug of war" effect on our psyche. Virgo grounds us with analytical energy, while dreamy Pisces pulls us back toward the clouds.

TLDR (but it's worth reading to the end cause there's a surprise...😉):
HOT TAKE: our homes are sentient. 🤷‍♀️
Of course every house I've lived in, has been haunted. 👻 I'm a medium, afterall. 😅
But my ability to perceive had little to do with it.
So many assume something traumatic has to happen for a "haunt" to occur - death, abuse, rage.
But memories call spirit back to a place, and over the years, even the ones we add to four walls create palpable energy.
Good.
Or bad.
My apartment in downtown Des Moines had a little girl who liked to whisper and turn the faucets on at night. Fun fact: I almost moved into a unit that had JUST had a death *in it*. A story for another time (ask me!) but you have to ask: would I have "come out" sooner if I had moved in there? 🤔😂
My house in Humeston held a sinister energy... one that even bled into my relationship at the time.
The 200 year old farm house my little {big} family lives in now hosts a protective and sometimes intimidating woman and a man who regularly has to be checked. She likes the stairs and well, he's kinda scary. 🤷‍♀️😂
Of course, now that I'm "out" our own spirits visit us, too. Just last week, my beloved Aspen was in the boys room. 🥰

Even "Normie" homes need cleansed.
Out with the old. In with the new.
That's energy.
And we're all here because we know energy isn't well... nothing.

Honor your homes.
Whether it's big, and old, and grandiose - or small, and quaint, and leaving a lot to be desired.
More than likely, it's somewhere in the middle - a lot like mine.
And more than likely, it's housing more than just your family and your laughter and tears. It has memories of it's own.
This looks like:
"Hello again, I'm home!"
"It feels good in here today, thank you for that."
This looks like clearing the air, quite literally, after fights or especially stressful or tense weeks.
It also looks like celebrating how it makes you feel and what it does for you. Regular cleaning and practices that promote energetic flow, help with this.

Talk to your home.
It will absolutely talk back. ✨️
