My latest batch of skin care products...

I've been making my own skin care products for awhile, and I love that they are so easy to make, and are very nutritive for my aging skin.

Having the right ingredients on hand makes it easy. After you get the hang of it, you can start experimenting with different herbal and floral infusions.

I adore that I harvested my lilacs in the spring and made lilac infused witch hazel. Now in November, I can still make a facial toner with the lilac infusion.

Pretty cool, huh?

Just made a fresh batch of creme. Love that I can turn it into smaller batches and add essential oils to customize each small batch.

Testing out some new bags to see if they travel well, and won't leak. I don't like traveling with glass, and risk it breaking, so hoping this will work.

Also this might be an option to mail some creme to friends and family for the Holidays.

I made 3 test bags, and I can hot seal the bags as well. Haven't done that yet.

We will see how it goes!

And enjoy costumes, trick or treating, and any socializing that the holiday brings your way.

Be sure to keep some doTERRA peppermint, fennel, ginger essential oil, or doTERRA Digestzen nearby to rub on your tummy in case you over indulge on those sugary treats.
(Dilute the single essential oils with a little carrier oil before rubbing on tummy.)

I collected Yarrow on and near our mountain property when it was flowering in the late summer.

I made one batch using the manual method which is shown in the 1st picture.

It made a lovely batch of Yarrow infused carrier oil.

The smaller jar in the 3rd picture was made by using a infusing machine. Both oils are beautiful and you can see the slight difference in the golden deep color of the two batches in the 3rd picture.

Yarrow is a bit bitter, astringent, sweet, cool, dry, decongestant, restoring, stimulating and relaxing.

For my homemade skin care products, yarrow promotes tissue repair, reduces inflammation, and benefits the skin.

It supports the kidneys, liver, bladder, uterus, spleen, heart, endocrine, water passages, and blood

Sounds amazing huh?

Remember what is 'ON' you, is also 'IN' you, as your skincare is absorbed into bloodstream.

So when I apply my homemade skin care products that are created with all natural ingredients, I am also supporting my organs with the nutritive & energertic benefits of the herbal infused carrier oils, doTERRA essential oils, and any crystal exilirs I have chosen for my custom products.

Such simple products can have a far reaching impact on our overall health.

Worth the labor of love to make my own skin care.

We have gone from fall 🍁 to winter ❄️ to more winter ❄️and back to fall 🍁 this week!

I don't know about where you are at, but Mother Nature in New Mexico keeps us on our toes!

I love it all except for the 5.5 hour poweroutage, but that too did pass!

I wasn't quite ready for snow to blanket the ground and see it again until Spring.

So winter is almost here, we have had our warning!

I really get into squeezing the carrier oil out of the plant material! LOL! Can't help but laugh at the intensity on my face!

It started raining on Saturday, so I put out a container to collect rainwater. I like infusing rainwater to create crystal elixirs. 🔮

I use the crystal exilirs to make my homemade creme, and other specialty products. The elixirs add extra healing energy with the frequency of the crystals.

All of this is a labor of love, and I enjoy extra steps, so I can use some great energetic and therapeutic skin care.

The only problem with collecting the rainwater, is that it turned cold enough for the rain 🌧 to become snow ❄️! So it snowed on Sunday, and this morning we woke up to the first dusting of snow for the season!

I was hoping for some more rainwater, so maybe it will warm up and we get some more moisture!

Got a client with a skin issue that has tried everything! He hates using steriod creme from his doctor, as it makes him jittery.

It is a seasonal issue, that only shows up in the fall and winter season.

I created an essential oil synergy with nutritive oils for the skin. Yarrow/Pom is missing from the picture of oils I used.

I will share how it works for him when he reports back.

I love being an Aromatherapist, and using doTERRA essential oils to create all natural products that are effective and supportive for the body to heal!

I started a batch of carrier oil in my infuser machine, and these are the steps to complete the process, so I have a beautiful smelling and therapeutic carrier oil to make some delightful skin care products.

Can't wait to make some creme to nourish my skin.

Started a new batch of floral carrier oil to use in my next homemade creme.

Dried lavender, rose and calendula with avocado base.
Only 4 ingredients used. No chemicals or preservatives in a small batch. It will be used before preservatives are needed.

I love making my own all natural skincare. It really is quite easy to make and my skin loves the nutrients it soaks up.
