We finally did it everyone! Congratulations to everyone of the members from the American Cannabis Nurses Association to the Cannabis Nurses Network
It has been so long coming, and we will have more work to do - but let’s celebrate this victory for now 🌱✌️💚🥼

ANA President Jennifer Mensik Kennedy, PHD, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN announced the official recognition of Cannabis Nursing as a Specialty Nursing Practice today! She went on to say that it “highlights the essential role and special contribution of cannabis nurses to the health care system and promotes enhanced integration of cannabis therapies for health care consumers across diverse health care settings.”

Helpful information but always important to start slow and go slow until you know how cannabis will make your body/mind respond. Keep in mind not every patient is built the same or has the same response.
