Today was one of celebration!
First, my attorney provided my company (Promise U) with our official trademark certificate- a rigorous process that began just one year ago on this day (April 30, 2020).
Second, this morning, I was invited by Amazon's Dangerous Goods/Hazmat program to send my products to their select and limited dangerous goods Fullfillment-by-Amazon (FBA) warehouses.
It was difficult enough to gain clearance to sell my own brand's hand sanitizer on Amazon since they're very picky. Also, any antiseptic is deemed a hazmat product/"dangerous goods" product and one that requires much scrutiny.
Last Fall, Amazon gave me the clearance to sell my brand's products as long as I fulfilled the shipments myself. After hundreds of sales and not one customer complaint, I noticed a lot of (Ph.D./M.D.) professionals in the infectious disease/research fields were buying my products. This signaled to me that Amazon employed "spies" or qualified experts to purchase and test my product since the launch in November where I noticed a lot of university professors were purchasing my products.
Then recently throughout April, I noticed the same trend among those who were buying bulk bundles - researchers, professors, etc. So, it looks like Amazon's research team did their due diligence and determined my product was good enough to be fulfilled by their dangerous goods warehouses. It's a very proud moment for my company.
Thank you all for being part of this journey. It's been a long, trying one -- I made many personal sacrifices to push a product that remains close to my heart and one that has benefited my community.
I've never felt so much fulfillment and love in my heart throughout my life. This company will remain a part of my legacy. I love all of you! 💝🥂🎉 @ Houston, Texas
