Bach Thao Duoc has a core team consisting of 03 PhD holders in pharmacy, 01 doctor of traditional medicine, 15 university pharmacists, along with collaborators who are long-time lecturers and leading experts in traditional medicine at prestigious universities in Vietnam.
With an area of nearly 8,000 mΒ² and an investment of 120 billion VND, the Bach Thao Duoc factory complies with all requirements regarding facilities and machinery, hygiene conditions, processing procedures, and documentation systems. The Bach Thao Duoc factory is divided into several areas: the office, testing, and research area covering 1,044 mΒ² over three floors; production and storage area of 1,710 mΒ²; extraction area of 525 mΒ²; road corridor of 1,760 mΒ²; green planting area of 1,610 mΒ²; and other areas totaling 2,045 mΒ². The factory is divided into different functional areas such as raw material storage, processing, packaging, and preservation, ensuring no mix-up between finished products, semi-finished products, raw materials, packaging, waste, chemicals, and products.
Bach Thao Duoc researches human diseases, active ingredients in medicinal plants, extracts these active ingredients, and studies their effects on humans. From this, they analyze appropriate dosages to create products that serve human needs. Preserving and promoting the essence of traditional medicine through high-quality products made from 100% natural herbs, Bach Thao Duoc continuously develops its research and production team to improve product standards for human benefit. The Bach Thao Duoc factory, a specialized unit in the production of health protection food, proudly received the Certificate of Satisfactory Food Safety Conditions, meeting Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards for health protection food on December 31, 2019.
In 2018, the government issued Decree No. 15 guiding the Food Safety Law. Accordingly, from July 1, all facilities producing health protection food must have a good manufacturing practice (GMP) certificate, with conditions approaching those for drug production. This legal tool will help prevent low-quality food products from entering the market.
