SFPD Investigates Missing Person

Santa Fe, NM – January 23, 2026, the Santa Fe Police Department is seeking assistance locating
Lisa Michelle Dougan (51 years of age).

She was reported missing on January 19, 2026, by her family and they believe she is still in the Santa Fe area.

Ms. Dougan was last seen by staff checking out of Motel 6 at 3007 Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe New Mexico, on Monday January 5, 2026.

She was reported to have her dog with her. The reporting person was unable to provide the name or description of the dog.

Ms. Dougan is described as 5’03”, 165 lbs., with hazel eyes and with purple or red hair. A clothing description was not provided at this time.

This case remains under active investigation, and as additional information becomes available, it
will be provided.

The search for a new Albuquerque Police Department chief is now underway. The city hired a consulting firm to help with the recruitment and selection process, and applications are already being submitted. Mayor Tim Keller said he’s looking for someone who can meet today’s challenges, including fentanyl and long-standing cracks in the criminal justice system.

FBI Media Alert: FBI Offers Reward for Information Regarding a Bank Robbery on Albuquerque’s West Side

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who robbed the Bank of America at 2601 Coors Blvd NW, on Monday, December 29, 2025, at approximately 11:25am.

Suspect description:
• Race: White
• Age: approximately 60-70 years old
• Eyes: Blue
• Clothing: Yellow construction vest, a black hoodie with the hood up and maroon sleeves, a blue surgical mask, and blue jeans.

The suspect entered the bank, implied he had a bomb, and demanded cash from a teller who handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the robber.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the FBI at (505) 889-1300, or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at (505) 843-STOP.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.

Task Force Investigates Shooting

Las Cruces police and the Officer-involved Incident Task Force are investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting that resulted in no major injuries.

About 3:40 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2025, Las Cruces police were dispatched to the report of a possible domestic incident on the 1900 block of Embassy Drive. One of the parties in the domestic was reported to be armed with a firearm.

The investigation is in its infancy, but preliminary information indicates one LCPD officer discharged his duty issued firearm before a non-lethal use of force was used to take the subject, a male, into custody.

The subject was transported to a local hospital with non-gunshot, non-life-threatening injuries he obtained while being taken into custody. Charges against the subject are pending.

The officer was not injured and will be placed on administrative leave which is standard protocol for such an incident.

A portion of Embassy Drive near Hoagland Road will temporarily be closed during the on-scene investigation.

The Officer-involved Incident Task Force includes investigators from New Mexico State Police, the Las Cruces Police Department, Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Office and New Mexico State University Police.

No other information is available at this time.
