Dog trainer questions to ask; these answers can reveal a great deal about their methods and expertise.

When choosing a dog trainer, always ask about their approach to emotional well-being and trust-building.

How will they protect your dog's emotional health during training?

And, importantly, how will they help you both develop a deeper bond based on trust and mutual understanding?

These questions ensure you’re choosing a trainer who respects both your dog and your relationship.

Our beautiful St Bernard duo Molly (L) and Ivy(R) are ready for their perfect forever home.

Both girls are sweet as pie. They are lower energy dogs, enjoy romping and playing together for a little while, and they love to lay around outside and inside.

Molly is about 2 1/2 years old and Ivy is just a little older than a year. We believe that Ivy is Molly‘s baby. The girls love each other and will be adopting them out as a bonded pair.

Both get along with dogs, cats, kids enjoy being petted and of course love treats🐾💕🐾.

If you are interested in adopting Molly and Ivy, please put in the adoption application found on our website at argosdogrescue.org.

Striving to Keep NM Pets Thriving

Long Leash On Life is a health food and supply store for dogs and cats. Our mission is to improve the quality of cats' and dogs' lives through proper nutrition, positive training and a lifetime of meaningful enrichment, with a special focus on local rescue pets.

We are dedicated to helping pet parents do the absolute best they can to enhance their pets’ overall well-being. Our products are carefully selected based on meeting our high standards as well as their performance. We also pride ourselves in specialized customer service, where both you and your pets are genuinely treated like a part of our family.

Community support has always been another priority for Long Leash On Life. Throughout our fourteen years in business, we have supported many fine animal welfare organizations, such as Animal Humane New Mexico, Paws and Stripes, and Albuquerque Animal Welfare, to name a few.

Perhaps the most rewarding recipients are those in greatest need; the small local rescue groups and rural shelters. Our 2017-2019 donations of pet food tallied well over 400,000 pounds given to nearly 50 animal welfare organizations. This allowed many of these dedicated groups to afford spay and neuter costs, which helps control pet overpopulation, and ultimately reduces pet euthanasia in our Land of Enchantment.
