Happy Monday Friends! We are not meant to stay wounded. We are supposed to move through our tragedies and challenges and to help each other move through the many painful episodes of our lives. By remaining stuck in the power of our wounds, we block our own transformation. We overlook the greater gifts inherent in our wounds - the strength to overcome them and the lessons that we are meant to receive through them. Wounds are the means through which we enter the hearts of other people. They are meant to teach us to become compassionate and wise.

Thank you to everyone who attended the New Moon Nature walk. We had a nice time of community and connection, along with some heartfelt moments in ceremony and an ample amount of cacao. We hiked to the top of this peak, took in the view, and offered prayers for our city and gratitude for living in New Mexico, the land of enchantment.

We will be working with the heart-opening medicine of Grandmother Cacao as we explore the beauty of Mother Earth in the foothills of the Manzano Mountains. Participants will practice techniques to work with Mother Earth as a spiritual practice for healing and divine connection. We are meeting at Manzano Open Space; the address is listed in the event. We will open our sacred space with intention-setting, and participants will receive an ample dose of sacred Cacao beverage flavored with rose, cardamom, and cinnamon. We will then embark on a beautiful walk in the Manzano foothills, connecting to the sights, scents, and sounds of nature as a conduit to Mother Earth and the Cosmic Mother.
