Lee Haney: "I always use this example: in 1984, I weighed 243 pounds when I won my first Mr. Olympia. In 1991, I weighed 254 pounds — that’s about 10 pounds over an 8-year period. We looked at muscle maturity, balance, and growth over time. We didn’t rush our physiques; we made them better-looking from different angles.
As for training, we used the type of weight that allowed the body to grow and recover at the same time. I’ve always used a term: It’s better to undertrain than to overtrain. And that’s what you see a lot of happening now — a lot of injuries are taking place."

PRAISE REPORT... Happy to be alive!

I just spent 10 days in the hospital, 5 of those in the I.C.U.

Long story, short I entered the ER carrying more than 30 additional pounds of fluid that I had gained in a couple of short weeks.

EVERYTHING was smollen from my belly button down. I hadn't slept in nearly a week. And was coughing uncontrollably at times... Amongst other things that I'll keep private.

ER doc determined that I had pneumonia, and was in congestive heart failure that caused Afib.

We were in shock... How could this be?

I have always been healthy. I'm not overweight. I exercise 5ish days a week. And I eat super healthy 90% of the time.

Well I had been sick off and on since the beginning of December. I even ran a cycle of Azithromycin. But it just hang on.

I was told by my doctor and several hospital docs and cardiologist, that it was more than likely the virus or infection that my body had been battling attacked my heart.

I immediately notified my family, brother Roy and step mother, Kris, along with some other prayer warriors who came into agreement for my complete recovery!

Longer story, short... 10 days later I walked out of the hospital blessed with a cardiologist report stating my heart is strong and healthy!

I thank God for the nurses, doctors and cardiologists at the UNM Sandoval County Regional Hospital that worked diligently on my behalf!

PRAISE GOD... HE IS OUR LORD, OUR SAVIOR, OUR CREATOR... OUR HEALER!

Psalms 91 is what I stood on and I am now rejoicing on Psalms chapter 18!
