Leandro X. Centenera, M.D.
Winner of numerous awards and honors, including the LoveKin Award for Excellence and two Physician of the Year Awards, published in the Journal of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and having served as Medical Director for several geriatric care facilities, Dr. Centenera brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and compassion to House Calls of New Mexico patients.
Dr. Centenera received an international baccalaureate degree from the United Nations International School, a B.A. in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University, an M.D. from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School UMDNJ, and completed his residency at West Virginia University and Long Island College Hospital. In his spare time, he enjoys tapping into his technical side by building computers for specialized needs.
Jenny Sherrill, Office Manager
Jenny’s personal motto – “Just do it!” – exemplifies her tenacity, drive, and passion in finding and implementing solutions to enhance quality of life for older adults. Graduating with honors from Pima Medical Institute in 2005 as a certified medical assistant while simultaneously holding two full-time jobs and raising her two children, she now provides House Calls of New Mexico with her unwavering dedication and health care expertise as office manager.
Award-winning for her customer service and adept in all aspects of front and back office management, both clients and employees benefit from Jenny’s ability to ensure operations are running smoothly at all times, always with a smile. In her spare time, she enjoys quilt-making, cooking, reading, and spending time with her children and their family’s horse.
