Passages International is honored that the James family lovingly chose one of our biodegradable Seagrass Caskets to lay their dearly departed Barbara Finley James to rest. Barbara was collectively buried by family members and loved ones at the Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in an intimate end-of-life ceremony.

Prairie Creek is a Green Burial Certified non-profit community cemetery located in a protected conservation area near Gainesville, Florida. It is one of approximately 508 burial grounds in the United States offering natural burial services. As one of the front running eco-friendly organizations of the funeral industry, Passages International is pleased to play a role in green burials such as these.
