From sweet florals to fresh citrus and cozy vanilla blends, everyone had a wonderful time creating their very own signature scents. 💐🍊🧴 Laughter, creativity, and amazing aromas filled the room as we mixed, explored, and shared memories inspired by fragrance.

Who knew perfume making could be this much fun? 💖

10 years of dedication, leadership, compassion, and resilience 💛

Our Executive Director, Amy, may not love the spotlight, but today she deserves every bit of recognition. Over the last 10 years, she has led this community through so much. Including navigating a pandemic, constant change, and countless challenges with grace, strength, and heart. Through it all, she has continued to support both residents and team members while creating a community people are proud to call home and proud to call work.

Thank you, Amy, for your leadership, your care for others, and the steady presence you bring every day. The Montebello is better because of you, and we are so lucky to celebrate this milestone with you.

Happy National Pizza Party Day! 🍕

Today was full of cheesy goodness around our community! Residents had a blast during our pizza making class, creating their own delicious masterpieces, while team members enjoyed pizza during Town Hall as a small thank you for all they do.

Nothing brings people together quite like pizza!! 🍕

🦕🕰️ A Walk Through Time at the Natural History Museum 🕰️🦕

Our senior residents enjoyed a wonderful visit to the local Natural History Museum, where we walked through a fascinating timeline of history—from the prehistoric era to the wonders of space. Exploring the exhibits sparked thoughtful conversations and plenty of curiosity along the way.

During our visit, we talked about how life has changed over time, including a discussion on carbon footprints and how certain everyday choices—like enjoying cheeseburgers—can have a bigger impact than we might realize. It led to some great reflection and shared perspectives.

We also learned something special about one of our residents when she shared that her late husband helped build satellites, which made our space exhibit even more meaningful. From there, conversations flowed about everyone’s favorite planets and a fun question arose: If you could travel back in time, which part of history would you choose?

It was a day filled with learning, connection, and appreciation for both the past and the future. Experiences like these remind us how powerful shared stories and lifelong learning can be.
