Dear Patients and Community Members,

We are excited to share some wonderful news at Merit Family Medicine! Our provider team is growing, and we are thrilled to welcome Caroline Bourneuf, CFNP, and Kimberly Kozeliski, CFNP to our practice.

With their addition, our team now proudly includes five providers:
Brandy Heaton, CFNP
Olivia Laumbach, CFNP
Aliesha Griego, CFNP
Kimberly Kozeliski, CFNP
Caroline Bourneuf, CFNP

Kimberly Kozeliski, CFNP will begin seeing patients on January 12, and Caroline Bourneuf, CFNP will start on January 26.

Because of this growth, we are now accepting new patients and will have increased availability, including same-day appointments and urgent-care–type openings, to better serve our community.

In addition to expanding our provider team, we are also adding additional staff members to support patient flow and phone coverage. These improvements are part of our continued commitment to enhancing the overall patient experience and ensuring timely, compassionate care.

Merit Family Medicine is looking for a warm, dependable, and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing healthcare team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming experience for our patients from the moment they walk through the door.

Responsibilities include:
• Greeting patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Checking patients in and out efficiently
• Scheduling appointments and verifying patient information
• Answering phones and directing calls appropriately
• Collecting co-pays and handling basic front-desk transactions
• Maintaining a clean, organized front office
• Supporting providers and staff with daily administrative needs

Qualifications:
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience a plus
• Prior medical front-desk or customer service experience preferred

Merit Family Medicine is seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Phone Receptionist to join our growing team. This role is often the first point of contact for our patients, so a positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities include:
• Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Routing calls appropriately and taking accurate messages
• Assisting patients with general questions and directions
• Managing a high call volume while maintaining compassion and professionalism
• Supporting front-office operations as needed

Qualifications:
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• Professional, friendly, and patient-focused demeanor
• Prior medical office or customer service experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn EMR systems
