The Clearinghouse is to serve as a gateway for objective and substantive reference information, support groups, associations and government publications pertaining to these addiction challenges:

Substance Addiction: Alcohol, Drugs & Tobacco
Behavioral Addiction: Gambling, Eating Disorders, Sex and Internet Addiction

Websites included were evaluated on the following criteria for addition to the NM Addiction Resource Clearinghouse: authority of the site’s creator/manager, objectivity of the material, usability of the site, currency of site (how often the site is updated), scope and usability of the site. New Mexico treatment information is included for the entire state through from the SAMHSA (Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration) Treatment Locators. Specific listings of treatment facilities for Bernalillo County are supplied.
