Happy Tuesday! This is a little ADHD tip because believe me, I am all too familiar with the shame that comes with feeling unreliable or careless. If it matters, don’t rely on remembering it later.
Move it out of your head right away.
Put it somewhere your brain will see again:
• a repeated reminder on your phone
• a visible list
• a calendar with a reminder
I’ve taken to writing things down immediately on a sticky note and posting it at my desk where I’ll keep seeing it. Setting a reasonable deadline for yourself helps too. 🧡

Child abuse awareness and prevention also means knowing what to look for and what to do next. It’s not always obvious but some signs can include sudden changes in behavior or mood, fear around certain people or places, unexplained injuries and withdrawal, anxiety or regression. If something feels off it’s okay to take it seriously. In NM you can report suspected child abuse to CFYD at 1-855-333-SAFE (7233), or contact local law enforcement if a child is in immediate danger. Therapists are mandated reporters and are required to take steps to protect kids by making a report. Awareness is more than knowing, it’s being willing to act. 💙
