The intoxicating smell of freshly roasted chile filled the air in Hatch, NM this Labor Day weekend as the town celebrated the 53rd Annual Hatch Chile Festival, honoring the chile capital of the world.

BeWell was proud to join the festivities, connecting with locals and sharing how to get free help finding health insurance, all while asking the classic New Mexico question: red or green?

It was inspiring to see the community come together, with streets lined with chile vendors, colorful ristras, and the most delicious New Mexican food.
