⚾ Every walk is making a difference! 💚

This season, walks at home have already raised $2,640 for the ARCA Foundation through our partnership with Singleton Schrieber and the Albuquerque Isotopes.

Each step at the plate supports inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual, developmental, and cognitive disabilities. Our banner at the stadium tracks the progress all season long.

We’re grateful to Singleton Schreiber, Brian S. Colón, and the Albuquerque Isotopes for joining us, and to our community for cheering inclusion forward. 💙

🌟 Meet Kiley! 🌟
Kiley’s hopes and dreams shine as brightly as her smile.
Adventure is close to Kiley’s heart. She loves to travel and has already explored California, Utah, Idaho, and Georgia. One of her favorite memories is from Idaho, where she rode a dune buggy, enjoyed ice cream, and went shopping for new clothes.
Kiley also finds joy in everyday moments, such as helping out by taking the trash to the dumpster. In the future, she hopes to continue discovering new places, meeting new people, and creating sweet memories.

This gathering brought together professionals from across New Mexico’s long-term care community to share knowledge, celebrate excellence, and strengthen partnerships.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to participate in this meaningful event and remain committed to advancing quality care and supporting assisted living and long-term care communities across our state. 🌟

🌟 Meet Max! 🌟

Max starts each day with purpose and a passion for living well. He finds joy in preparing healthy meals 🥗 and creating routines that support his independence.

Trains are one of Max’s greatest interests 🚂, from building model railroads to dreaming about one day restoring old train cars. Music is another big part of his life. Max proudly sings with The New Mexichords Barbershop Chorus, attends weekly practices, and performs across the community. He even hopes to join other local choirs, record his own music, or try out open mic nights.

Community and connection are important to Max. He enjoys attending events 🎉 where he can meet new friends, while also cherishing time with his family. Compassion shines through in his love for animals, his tradition of attending Zozobra since 2004, and his passion for spending time outdoors. Creativity flows through his artwork, and he finds inspiration in museums and galleries.

Max also values self-care and growth. He goes to the gym 💪, practices self-improvement, manages his finances responsibly, and works toward his goal of greater independence. With support from his job coach, he is preparing to succeed in his career and annual reviews.

Through it all, Max continues to inspire with his determination, compassion, and dreams for the future. 💚

Jonathan has been a dedicated member of the ARCA team for over 10 years, working in Case Records. His deep expertise in document compliance and his lead in advancing electronic case records at ARCA exemplify our commitment to Service Excellence.
Jonathan’s promotion reflects our ongoing commitment to growing talent from within. Like many of our managers, he brings a wealth of experience and a strong understanding of our mission, making him a great fit to lead quality improvement efforts in the ICF Service area.

Felix is dedicated, hardworking, and takes great pride in his janitorial work. He enjoys reading and following his task list independently, reviewing his timecard, and signing in to his ARCA work account. Having a job in the community is important to Felix because it gives him the chance to earn money, plan vacations, and enjoy activities he loves, such as participating in Special Olympics.
Felix is also passionate about cooking, baking for friends, staying active, and continuing to learn new skills like literacy, journaling, and using technology. For him, work is more than a paycheck. It is a path to independence, friendship, and making his dreams come true. 💚

Our talented staff and the individuals we serve filled the space with creativity and heart. Tables were overflowing with handmade jewelry, vibrant paintings, cozy knitwear, unique home décor, and so much more. Each piece reflected the skill, dedication, and passion of its artist.

🎒✨ ARCA is helping our team start the school year with confidence and care!

Our Human Resources team stocked 100 brand-new backpacks filled with school supplies to support employees and their families. It’s our way of saying we’ve got your back while you get the kiddos ready to learn, grow, and shine. 📚💙

From pencils to crayons and everything in between, these backpacks helped make the first day of school just a little brighter. Here’s to a great year ahead for all our ARCA families!

🌱 Mission Moment 🌱
NeuRoads NM has been busy making a difference in more ways than one 🌟, from giving back in the community to preparing for the season ahead.
At the food bank 🥫, the team rolled up their sleeves to sort, pack, and prepare food for distribution. Their teamwork, laughter, and dedication turned a big task into a rewarding experience.
The group has also been managing the grounds at NeuRoads and lending their green thumbs at La Paloma Greenhouse, starting prep work for the much-anticipated Poinsettia Sale in November. These projects keep the spaces beautiful and give participants the chance to learn new skills, work together, and connect with nature 🌿.
Whether stocking shelves, tending plants, or getting ready for holiday blooms 🎄, NeuRoads NM shows how service builds confidence, friendships, and a deep sense of pride in making a positive impact. 💚

🌿 Meet Traci, Direct Support Professional Lead 🌿
For nearly two years, Traci has been part of the La Paloma Greenhouse team, helping individuals develop valuable work and life skills through the art of gardening. Every day, she sees how planting, nurturing, and harvesting reflect the personal growth and confidence of the people she supports.
“The time spent learning what it takes to help a plant grow transfers over to how we care for ourselves,” Traci shares. “It’s rewarding to see the pride individuals take in starting plants from seeds, maintaining them, harvesting vegetables, and making each seasonal crop a success.”
Traci’s dedication, compassion, and ability to connect with each individual create an environment where everyone feels supported and valued. She brings patience, encouragement, and joy to every task, inspiring both her team and the individuals she serves.
