🔑 We use the word "safe" a lot in this profession. Safe space, safe enough, creating safety. What are we actually talking about?

For so many of the people we work with, safety is not an internal experience they have access to. It is a concept we keep naming for those who have not experienced it.

🧭 Healing-centered practice asks us to look beyond the behavior. What happened? What was needed? What did they learn to do without it? Day 1 is full. Days 2 and 3 still have space.

🌿 Healing-centered practice shifts the question from "what is wrong with this person" to "what has happened to this person and what do they need to heal."

It is not a new technique. It is a different orientation. One that requires us to examine our own assumptions, our training, and the systems we work within alongside the people we support.
