If your revolution is performance, it better be powerful enough to change hearts and inspire souls towards repair.
If there is no communication, then there cannot be repair. Im always open for repair. In fact, I pride myself there. There’s really no other emotional work that can touch it.
But I do lose motivation to prioritize initiation. I will not beg for your time, my knees are worn. I can’t expect perfection, a colonization mindset impossible to attain. But I do expect to be taken seriously when asking for communication and repair. When you shove me aside and avoid us, I will walk away to preserve my own soul. I’m not that kind of performer and don’t understand it.
The dirty work is the hard work. It’s behind the scenes. It doesn’t need an audience, it asks for a witness. An intimate performance without accountability, is sadly a missed opportunity 😢 blocked by egos.
