{To withdraw to a quiet + secluded place used for privacy + rest.}

The property was all ours. Private. Beautiful. Quiet.
Located on a secluded, pristine beach. We rested. We talked. We laughed, cried, and listened.

We moved our bodies to the sounds of birds in the trees. We ate incredible food. Drank fresh juices and fancy coffees. We swam in the ocean, read good books, slept to the sound of the waves, tanned our skin and talked and talked and talked and talked. We toasted the pink moon, and threw what no longer serves us into the bonfire.

We visualized a life expanded. Saw our dream life play out on the big screen. Met our future self on the beach and listened as she whispered in our ear. We released self imposing limitations and wrote a letter from our wise future self, spilling the tea on all that we will accomplish in our beautiful lives.

It was so much. But just enough.

The perfect girls weekend.

An old Japanese proverb meaning one time/one encounter or once in a lifetime. Ichi-go ichi-e embodies the philosophy that every moment spent in an encounter should be treasured, because it will never occur again.

So then, every encounter should be met with our fullest attention. Some encounters plant seeds that take root over time, while others change the course of our life in a single moment but replicating an experience is impossible.

🤸🏻 Under the watchful eyes of Coaches David and Avery, students will explore the art of handstands in a communal and supportive environment. This is where practice becomes personal, and progress becomes collective.

Together, we will:

Study the foundations of balance and alignment.

Refine entries into handstand, and shape shifting while in a handstand.

Drill strength and endurance for longer holds and a sustainable practice.

Partner spotting techniques will be taught and practiced, enabling students to safely and appropriately support one another, regardless of their skill level. Whether you are building your first 60-second hold or refining freestanding consistency, this class offers a structured approach within a fun and open format.

You can expect personalized and individual attention provided to each student, along with group exercises and conditioning work in every class. Proper progressions will be provided for every skill level.

Handstand is both art and architecture.
