In order to stock fish, we need to raise fish, and that comes from the help of the Assistant Hatchery Manager.

NMDG is currently hiring at the Rock Lake Hatchery in Santa Rosa and the Red River Hatchery in Questa. The position is for the public by providing a food supply and a recreational fishery.

The ideal candidate will have experience or education in animal health, fisheries science, fish culture, wildlife science, natural science, biology, agriculture, animal husbandry, carpentry, auto mechanics, plumbing, welding and working with complex water delivery systems.

A message for the NM Fire and Ems Expo

One more day until Expo! Couple of things before you get there.
Check-In starts at 10am on Wednesday at the NM Fire Academy. Everyone must check-in at the Fire academy before heading to your classes.
If you are taking live fire classes, all bunker gear MUST be inspected prior to going to class. Please make sure you leave enough time for this to be completed. Gear checks will start on Wednesday at 10am at the Student Union Building.
Name tags must be worn to all events and classes for security purposes.
If you checked that you will be attending any of the evening social events, tickets will be in your name badge.
Various Expo items from this year and last year will be on sale at the Check-in desk at the Fire Academy.
Transportation buses will be available to travel back and forth from the NM Fire Academy to the Convention Center.
If you decide to change your classes, make sure to change them in your Event App prior to attending the changed classes.
Make sure to sign the roster for every class you attend. Rosters were printed early, so if your name is not on it that's ok as long as you changed your class in the app and just print your name and sign on the blank slots.
If you have any questions, please let us know. We will start posting updates on the App starting Wednesday morning. Get ready for a great conference!
