New Mexico Academy of Family Physicians is one of 55 chapters of the national organization, American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), which has over 129,600 members throughout the United States. NMAFP supports the practicing Family Physicians, Family Medicine Residents, Medical Students with an interest in Family Medicine and retired Family Medicine Physicians in New Mexico.

The New Mexico Academy of Family Physicians exists to improve the health of the people of New Mexico by supporting and advancing the specialty of Family Medicine and serving the needs of our members.
