Mending Hearts welcomes Anndrya Rivera, LMHC, ART-P to our team!

Dre is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR-P) who has always been fascinated by the bridge between creative expression and emotional healing. Her journey began at New Mexico State University, where she studied studio art, psychology, and counseling. She later earned her Master’s in Counseling and Art Therapy from Southwestern College of Santa Fe, where she also received a specialized certificate in Human Sexuality from the New Earth Institute.

In her practice, Dre provides a warm, inviting space where individuals can feel truly seen and supported. Working with teens, young adults, and adults, Dre takes a compassionate and inclusive therapeutic approach, competently serving a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and the LGBTQIA+ community.

When she isn't in the therapy room, you’ll likely find Dre immersed in her own creative world as a painter and printmaker. She loves sharing the spark of creativity with others by teaching art classes to the public.

Do you have a social worker in your life or has a social worker helped change your life?

Help them celebrate the month by letting them know how important they are to you!

We appreciate and value the work social workers do day in and day out, all around the world!

The NASW has chosen this theme for 2026
Uplift. Defend. Transform.

Meet Alexis Amor, LMHC! She recently joined us at Mending Hearts and has immediate availability.

My name is Alexis (she/they). I graduated from Southwestern College in 2024 with a dual degree in mental health counseling and art therapy. I identify as a person of color (POC), neurodivergent (on the autism spectrum), and q***r. Having those identities helps inform my care to provide a neurodivergent-affirming, systemic, trauma-informed, humanistic, and a strength-based/motivational lens to clients — ages (13 and up), adolescents, and adults. I believe play, art, and humor are essential parts to healing—whether it be to myself or others.

Please call 505-440-7600 to schedule.
