Here’s an opportunity to give feedback to make our streets safer for all. If you have ideas, please go and share them!

This July, the REACH Healthy Here Coalition, City of Albuquerque Department of Municipal Development (DMD), Presbyterian Community Health, and Anthropopulus Design and Planning invite you to join two important Louisiana Blvd. Safety Audits. These events are an opportunity to give feedback on recent street changes and speak directly to City staff about what’s working — and what’s not — for pedestrians, cyclists, and people using mobility devices.

We especially want to invite neighbors with disabilities to participate in these audits. Your lived experiences are essential to identifying barriers and making Albuquerque’s streets truly accessible to all. Your voice matters, and your perspective is powerful.

📣 Why your participation matters:
Street changes have been made, but we need to know if they really work for everyone.
The International District — where the audits are happening — has some of the highest rates of pedestrian fatalities in the city.
You deserve to move through public space safely and with dignity. Help us hold the city accountable to that goal.

Focus on general pedestrian and bike safety improvements on Louisiana Blvd.

Mobility & Accessibility Audit with ASL Interpretation

Cesar Chavez Community Center
Special focus on accessibility for people with disabilities
