As many of you know, Homestead Art Therapy & Counseling has closed its doors! Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way, including the clients and families who were gracious enough to trust me with their time and their whole hearts. You will not be forgotten.

I am not leaving the ohana aina quite yet - you might even see me at a few future events - but my forever gratitude also to and for your unwavering and generous assistance with more things that I can count. Colleagues and fellow clinicians, you are my people. Thank you.

I'm excited to move onward and yet backward - to my medical roots - to support a fantastic team bringing the healing power of the arts to patients and families undergoing cancer treatment. It's what I've learned here from all of you that will allow me to do just that. ❤️ 🐎

In last night's painting workshop, we used the mindfulness technique of RAIN (recognize - allow - investigate - nurture) to explore physical sensations and feelings. We used radical acceptance to be with whatever showed up in our experience and gave it an outlet on the canvas. I was amazed by the healing that was experienced in just 90 minutes. Shoutout to the amazing women on this journey together.

You'll get to play and engage in a wide variety of art materials, plus get all the tools you need to support your own mindfulness practice.
