“Fill the Hearse to Fight Hunger”

Arcadia Care at Aledo was proud to participate in the “Fill the Hearse to Fight Hunger” event hosted by Nichols Bewley Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Donations are being collected tomorrow, November 7th (9 AM – 3 PM) and Friday, November 8th (8 AM – 12 PM) at their location to support the Churches of Mercer County Food Pantry – Illinois and FurEver Friends for Mercer County Illinois.

We’re honored to join this meaningful community effort to help fight hunger and care for both families and pets in need.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Healthcare Heroes!

Today, Marketers from Arcadia Care had the pleasure of meeting with 1st- and 2nd-year nursing students and CNAs at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg!

We had great conversations about future career goals in healthcare and shared why working for Arcadia Care is such a rewarding experience.

A huge thank-you to Scooters of Galesburg for generously donating coffee for the students — it gave everyone that perfect extra boost of caffeine and energy for the day!

Arcadia Care at Aledo would like to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Trunk or Treat!

A special shout-out to OSF HealthCare, Traditions Health, Hospice Compassus, Beacon of Hope Hospice, LLC, the Aledo Police Department City of Aledo, and Nichols Bewley Funeral and Cremation Services for their wonderful participation and community spirit.

We had an amazing turnout and so much fun — but the best part of all was seeing the joy on our residents’ faces as they greeted all the adorable trick-or-treaters!

Thank You, Aledo Police Department!

Arcadia Care at Aledo stopped by to drop off a snack basket for the Aledo Police Department as a small token of appreciation for all they do to keep our community safe.

While no officers were present for a photo (they were all out being heroes, of course!), the department’s secretary was kind enough to take one for us.

We’re so grateful for our local law enforcement and their dedication to protecting and serving our community every day!

Pink Out Friday for Breast Cancer Awareness!

Today we celebrated Arcadia’s Pink Out Friday by spreading a little love and support in our community.

Our team dropped off pink BOO buckets filled with treats to the amazing staff at MercyOne Genesis Radiology Department in Aledo, a small way to say thank you for the care and compassion they show every day.

Together, we honor all those affected by breast cancer and continue to raise awareness, one pink gesture at a time.

Serving Up Love (and Chili!)

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of cooking for the First United Methodist Church during their weekly community meal event. What a wonderful opportunity to give back and connect with our neighbors!

Our team showed up in full force — each bringing a pot of their own delicious chili and all the fixings!
