Rain or shine, the Easter Egg Hunt was happening.

This weekend, Arcadia Care at Aledo hosted an indoor Easter Egg Hunt for the children and grandchildren of our residents and staff. The weather had other plans, but that did not stop the fun for a single second. Colorful eggs, plenty of candy, and big smiles filled the room from wall to wall.

We even had two very lucky golden egg winners who made the day extra special.

Moments like these remind us why community matters so much. Watching the little ones race across the floor while our residents cheered them on was pure joy.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this such a memorable Easter. We love celebrating with our Aledo family.

🐰💐 Spreading Easter Cheer in Our Community 💐🐰

Arcadia Care at Aledo hopped on over to Carle Health in Peoria today to share a little Easter joy with the amazing case managers we work closely with, their dedicated volunteers, and the wonderful front desk team.

It was our pleasure to brighten their day with a small token of appreciation for the incredible care, compassion, and support they provide every day.

We truly value these partnerships and are grateful for all that you do for our residents and community!

🐰💛 Spreading Easter Joy in Our Community 💛🐰

Arcadia Care at Aledo’s marketer, Brandie Swanson, along with fellow Arcadia Care marketers, had the privilege of visiting the Ronald McDonald House in Peoria today to deliver Easter baskets for the children.

We hope this small gesture brings smiles, comfort, and a little extra joy to the families spending their holiday away from home.

At Arcadia Care, we believe in giving back and supporting our communities, especially during moments that matter most.

We may have had the most eventful activity calendar in our history today.

In honor of April Fools' Day, our team at Arcadia Care Aledo pulled out all the stops. First, we served up a batch of "Brownies," and let's just say they were not what anyone expected. Brown E's, anyone?

And if that wasn't enough, our activity calendar for the day included Tight Rope Walking, Swimming with Sharks, a Denture Swap Party, Live Music with Cher, and a Wild Goose Chase. (Just kidding, of course!)

The laughter that filled our halls today was absolutely priceless. It is moments like these that remind us just how much fun it is to be part of this community.

Here's to a team that works hard AND knows how to have a good time. Happy April Fools' Day from all of us at Arcadia Care Aledo!

We hopped over to spread a little Easter cheer to some incredible people!

This week, our team at Arcadia Care Aledo paid a visit to the MercyOne Genesis Hospital Emergency Department to "egg" their amazing care team and deliver a little holiday joy to the people who give so much every single day.

The nurses, doctors, and staff at MercyOne Genesis work tirelessly to care for our community, and we are so grateful for everything they do. It was our pleasure to show up for them the way they always show up for others.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire MercyOne Genesis Hospital E.D. team for the incredible care you provide to the people of Aledo. You are so appreciated!

Building strong community connections is at the heart of what we do.

Arcadia Care Aledo's Marketing Liaison, Brandie Swanson, had the pleasure of attending the UnityPoint Health - Quad Cities Muscatine Coalition Meeting today. These gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to strengthen relationships with our care partners at UnityPoint Hospital in Rock Island and stay informed on the topics that matter most to our residents and their families.

Today's meeting featured a very informative presentation by Andrew Stastny from the University of Iowa Health Network Rehabilitation Hospital, who shared valuable insights on stroke prevention and post-stroke rehabilitation.

We are proud to be part of a community that prioritizes education, collaboration, and the well-being of those we serve. Together, we can provide better care for everyone.

✨💛 Fun with a purpose at Arcadia Care! 💛✨
This afternoon, our residents got creative making sensory bags using hair gel, beads, and glitter — and had a great time doing it! 🎨✨
Not only was this a fun hands-on activity, but these sensory bags are also a helpful tool for managing stress and anxiety, providing a calming and soothing experience.
It’s always a win when we can combine creativity, relaxation, and smiles all in one activity! 😊
