Alabamians 4 Medical Cannabis Freedom and Disability Rights is a NONPARTISAN, nonprofit, grassroots, registered Principal/Lobbyist Advocacy organization. We specialize in Autism, Epilepsy, Cannabis, Disability Rights and Special Education/Needs. Our ultimate goal is for all Alabama Patients & citizens to have the freedom to use Cannabis as an alternative to pharmaceuticals for an array of Medical

Conditions with no regulation from the Federal and State government. We also believe that patients should not have to worry about being arrested for consuming Cannabis. The realistic view of the Cannabis industry leads us to believe that a multi tiered approach is needed to achieve our end goal. There will be multiple steps needed to reach our end goals.
1. Decriminalization and Expungement of Cannabis related charges
2. Remove Cannabis from the Controlled Substance Act both Federally & State -Deschedule
4. Home Grow
5. Legalization/End Prohibition

We received some information that HB65 will be up today but we were unable to confirm that.

Happy Munchie Monday!!! As you all know we have begun making the transition to our new lobbyist page. We are 3 days away from the end of session (Sine Die), therefore we are starting to gear up and plan for our 'off session' months. There are a ton of initiatives that we have in mind and will narrow down in the coming months, but right now we are branching out and expanding. In addition to adding Autism, Epilepsy and Small Business causes to our expertise, we are turning our Pro Bono grassroots lobbyist organization into an official and viable LLC. Every member of our team is dedicated and committed to, the long term job of, making Alabama a Cannabis friendly place. YES, it is a very tall order. YES, it is going to take blood, sweat and tears to do it. YES, WE ARE PREPARED AND READY!
WE are asking for your continued support and encouragement as we embark on this journey.
We are launching our Membership Drive for Mullins Lobbyist Firm. Many do not know nor understand how much it takes to do what we do. Even though we love it and enjoy it, it takes alot of time and funds away from our families and other things.
Any funds we raise will go directly into our expense fund to get our LLC registered and help offset our expenses. We can provide a breakdown of expenses upon request. Any questions can be directed to us here, via messenger OR email at info@mullinslobbyistfirm.com

Hey you guys! We are finally back on line. We apologize for being quiet-but sometimes life just doesn't cooperate with anything.

We have 3 legislative days left and the next session day is May 7, 2024. Senate convenes at 2pm, House convenes at 1pm. As of today (5/3) there has been no movement on any of our bills.

I , along with the rest of my AMAZING team, would like to announce the official formation of our new permanent organization.

MULLINS LOBBYIST FIRM

Our mission will not change. Our focus will not change. Our passion will not change. In fact we will be more successful now than ever before. More opportunities and more ways to move our cause along is going to be so beneficial to us and the citizens of Alabama. We still have to complete the LLC process but once complete we will be able to accept donations and other forms of assistance that will help us to help you. We will be able to expand our services and provide better outcomes.
Our fight for Medical Cannabis access, the protection of small businesses, and the suffering and dieing patient is not going to end any time soon. It is reality and it has become more prominent and obvious this session. In order for us to keep making change and helping people we have to have a more structured organization and we are going to need funding. We will be adding Autism, Epilepsy and Small business to our area of expertise and will take up these causes as needed in Montgomery.

We all do this probono right now, but supplies, marketing, gas, and time--the list goes on is not cheap. We are having to evolve as needed.

We thank you for all the support, encouragement and prayers these past 5 years. We will slowly start transitioning over to the new page.

4/16 Tuesday UPDATE....SB306 was NOT on the Senate floor today. Sometimes our tips pan out and sometimes they don't. It happens. We will start back on Thursday with legislative Day 23. (8 days left)

Here is the 4/15 Week Legislative Update( pictured below)

We expect SB306 to be on the Senate floor Tuesday for debate and vote. I have it outlined below. We will watch for any other bill to be put on the calendar as well. Senate convenes at 2pm tomorrow.

Good mid morning everybody! Today is Budget day in the Senate, so that will be the focus there today. However, I did still tune in to hear the Special Order Calendar (SOC) and HB65 nor SB276 is going to have any movement today.

Again, stay tuned as usual and we will update again if needed.

After today there will be 8--EIGHT--Legislative Days left.
