Didn't this hospital use to have another name. The Edward - something hospital?
The Physical Therapy department did an excellent job with trying to get my problem solved ! All of the therapist are extremely caring and show great compassion ! I highly would recommend using the physical therapy department at the River ! Thank you all who helped me !
I had to have a pre-op check. Since my primary Dr ( Dr Lang ) wasn't available I had Dr Wallace, I must say I was very impressed. Dr Wallace came in said hello to me and my husband. He then proceeded to say why I was there. Apparently he had looked at my file ! Dr Lang knew of my upcoming surgery and told me I was in good hands and would like Dr Wallace, well she was right , Dr Wallace made me and my husband feel very comfortable! Thank you Dr Wallace !
Since my primary Dr , Dr Lang wasn't available I say Dr Wallace, I needed to see Dr for a pre-op release, as I stated I saw Dr Wallace and must say I was very impressed with him ! He made me and my husband feel very comfortable, if need be I would see him again if Dr Lang isn't available. But, we both like and prefer Dr Lang ! Thank you to Dr Wallace !

Hyde Stone Mechanical Contractors recently gave River Hospital a donation of graNolan Bars. The bars were created by Theresa Stone in honor of her great nephew Nolan. Nolan was born with acute infantile leukemia. Mrs. Stone created the graNolan Bar to sustain Nolan’s parents during their fight against cancer for their 2 year old son. Each bar is filled with quality ingredients to give strength and energy, while they care for those in need. A note included with the bars read, “As you face these challenging and uncertain times, I hope they give you a bit of strength and energy to help care for those who are depending on you.” Thank you for your thoughtfulness!
