River Post-Traumatic Stress Services
RPTSS was founded at River Hospital to serve individuals who experienced post-traumatic stress as a result of combat and non-combat related post-traumatic stress. Services offered include trauma-focused therapy on an outpatient and partial-hospitalization program basis. Clinical staff is trained in a variety of trauma-informed modalities and therapeutic approaches. Mission Statement

As a program we place a high value on mutual respect and genuine relationships. We strive to foster these among our program participants and in our participant/staff community. We recognize that each individual has a unique story and strive to meet each person where they are to help them bring their best self home. Outpatient Services
RPTSS provides individual outpatient psychotherapy to active-duty military, veterans, high-risk occupations, and others who may experience traumatic events at work. Therapists work with clients to develop a treatment plan that suits their needs in terms of trauma treatment. High-risk occupations include, but are not limited to:

Partial-Hospitalization Program (PHP)
RPTSS offers a more comprehensive level of care with the PHP for active-duty military and veterans. Clients receive evidence-based, trauma-focused psychotherapy, in addition to supplemental groups that assist in addressing a variety of issues that may arise as a result of traumatic experiences, and individual therapy.
