Today we recognize the importance of staying active at every stage of life.
National Senior Health & Fitness Day highlights how movement, wellness activities, and social engagement support overall health, independence, and quality of life for older adults. We’re proud to encourage opportunities that help residents stay active, connected, and engaged in meaningful ways. Join us in celebrating healthy aging by finding a way to move today whether it’s a group class, a walk, or another activity you enjoy.
On the last Wednesday in May each year, approximately 100,000 senior adults will participate in activities across the U.S. for National Senior Health and Fitness Day. Let's get our sneakers on and get moving!
