🌺 Aloha! We had such a blast at our Luau Happy Hour! 🌴🍹 The dancers didn’t just wow us with their beautiful performances—they also shared the rich history and meaning behind the dances. Had a wonderful day in Old Town Alexandria with our residents! We explored the historic Gadsby’s Tavern, enjoyed a hearty lunch at The Royal Restaurant, and even spent some time listening to the airplanes come and go from Reagan National Airport. It’s the little moments—history, good food, great company, and the sound of travel—that made this outing so special. ✈️❤️

🌬️🌥️ Cloudy skies and windy vibes — but still a great time!
Some residents went for a picnic at D**e Marsh Park, and even with the gray weather, the good company, beautiful views, and tasty food made it totally worth it.

Lots of laughs, learning about flight patterns, strolling along the river, and just soaking it all in.

🌞 No matter the season or weather, staying engaged is essential when living with dementia — and we make it a priority every day. Whether it’s indoor gardening, a drive-thru petting zoo, indoor walking club, baking club, or even a trip to the water park, we find meaningful ways to keep our residents active, connected, and smiling — even during these hot Virginia summers! 💧🌻🍪🐐

Today was all about the experience — and what a beautiful one it was. We spent the early part of the day at the waterpark with some of our wonderful residents. Some splashed in the water, others soaked up the breeze in the shade, and a few even dared us to ride a slide! 😄

Big or small, calm or adventurous — these moments matter. It’s not just about what we do, but how it makes us feel. Experiences like this are meaningful, joyful, and truly cherished. 💙
