Last weekend’s snowstorm reminded us just how incredible our team truly is. 💙
Nearly 30 of our team members chose to stay overnight so our residents could continue life as normally and comfortably as possible — warm meals, familiar faces, and uninterrupted care. Just as importantly, their selflessness meant their coworkers didn’t have to risk traveling in dangerous conditions. We are so appreciative of our team and could not be prouder of every single one of you!
This is teamwork at its finest: putting residents first, supporting one another, and showing up when it matters most. We are so grateful for your dedication, compassion, and heart. Thank you for going above and beyond — you make our community stronger every single day. ❄️👏

Living in the DC area gives us the chance to experience so much. Yesterday, our Nexus Residents traveled to Quantico to visit the Marine Corps Museum. It was a special time walking through the exhibits together, sharing stories and memories along the way. 🇺🇸

Last night we went into DC and got to see the Washington Monument lit up, telling the story of our nation. 🇺🇸✨

It was done in honor of our nation’s 250th birthday, reflecting on its discovery, expansion, independence, and future. It was unanimous in how much we all enjoyed it—seeing the monument come alive with history was truly special.

Embracing 2026 was celebrated with amazing homemade cakes, top hats and tiaras, a vibrant balloon arch, effervescent sparkling cider and champagne, all culminating in an afternoon filled with heartfelt laughter and warm wishes. Wishing you a Happy New Year, from all of us to all of you!
